Devotional Worship
"Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the Law of the Lord and in His Law he meditates day and night." Psalms 2:1-2
"Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on the Lord." Psalms 27:14
Devotional worship time is designed to provide an anointed atmosphere for individuals to focus and meditate on Scriptures as they sit at His feet and wait in His presence. The music and songs are devotional in their focus, creating a time of loving intimacy.
"To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." Colossians 1:24-27 During this time we may engage in contemplative prayer, or meditate on and behold the beauty of Jesus, or pray Scriptures. Each and every minute we spend before Him matters to Him even when we don't feel anything. Scripture tells us His heart is ravished by just one glance we make toward Him.
(Song of Solomon 4:9) It is out of this heart He evaluates our lives with such kindness. Come sit before Him, and rejoice in His loving kindness and goodness.
"For the Lord will again rejoice over you for good as He rejoiced over your fathers." Deuteronomy 30:9
"You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore." Psalms 16:11
"The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:1
